Catering facility The Tasting Garden, Duiven (the Netherlands) 2018

On Friday 30 March 2018 Intratuin Duiven opened a new catering facility. This comprises a large kitchen and service area of approx. 500 m² and terraces measuring approx. 1,000 m² on the ground floor, with another 700 m² of terraces on the upper floor.

The new catering area, also known as ‘The Tasting Garden’, is located in the middle of the garden center. ‘The Tasting Garden’ can also be accessed directly from Intratuin’s entrance. Various seating areas have been created with a different atmosphere and style in every corner, from botanical to oriental and from sweet to sturdy.

This section can seat about 900 dining guests, served by a team of 50 staff to ensure complete satisfaction. All fresh products come from ‘Our Vegetable Garden’, which is located opposite ‘The Tasting Garden’, and is also open to shoppers.

The large playground for kids called ‘The Climbing Garden’ can be accessed from ‘The Tasting Garden’. This is an indoor playground with slides and trampolines, all on 4 plateau heights in the style of an old factory. This indoor playground is connected to an outdoor playground where you can climb a wall of 9 meters, scramble through netting and slide down one of the many slides.
